Here, this organic restaurant and grocers provides an exceptional link between the fantastic food producers of West Wales and their customers. They supply vegetables, fruits, meat, breads, delicious cheeses, beers, wines, cakes and savouries. They deliver affordable, modern international cuisine, for vegetarians, vegans and meat-eaters, using seasonal produce and showcasing their locality daily with the 100% local dishes, whilst also making mouth-watering supplies to take away.
Your responsibilities will be to deliver a lunchtime menu in a busy organic restaurant. Their Specials Menu changes daily and a passion for creating food from the finest organic/local ingredients is an absolute must, as is the ability to produce vegetarian/vegan as well as meat dishes, with imagination and flair. Equally, superb menus have been created and you must be able to follow recipes. Additionally, you must have some experience of managing a small team. You will work between 30 and 40 hours per week (and this can be flexible), Monday-Saturday daytime only.
It is essential that, after gaining your cooking qualifications, you have gained a few years experience as a chef working in a quality restaurant, using fine, local ingredients. You need to demonstrate your flair and creativity as a Chef and must be able to substantiate this with employer references and sample of your own menus.
