Are you a creative chef who is looking for the opportunity to make something your own? Do you want the empowerment and autonomy to make things happen in the kitchen (yet with the full support and backing of the very personable owners)?
This quintessential Country Inn is hiring a talented and creative Head Chef. A busy operation, being close to the 3 Counties show ground, their produce is sourced locally wherever possible and is always freshly prepared and home-made. Serving a Sunday roast carvery, takeaway fish and chips, lunches and dinners and their ice-cream comes from a local farm!
As Head Chef, you need to be able to work alone during the week and will have a chef to assist at the weekends. Already a busy establishment, the opportunity is there for you to increase your brigade as your cuisine delights more customers and you get busier still! Your experience needs to come from a quality restaurant or gastro pub as they serve a broad range of high quality dishes. As Head Chef, you must also have experience in managing a kitchen, menu planning, stock control, temperature monitoring, ordering and staff supervision.
No live-in is available so you need to live within the Malvern area. On top of your basic salary, you will be paid for any extra days you have to work over your contract.
