An excellent opportunity has arisen to join this dedicated Front of House Team who is currently looking for a talented and ambitious individual to work in their privately owned Michelin hotel/restaurant. Your role will encompass both running the personalised bar and assisting the experienced Sommelier.
Taking great pride in providing guests with a warm welcome and exceptional hospitality, your proven expertise will enable you to co-ordinate the serving of drinks whilst ensuring the highest standards of performance and professionalism. Smart, articulate and enthusiastic, you will ensure that the needs of their guests are immediately attended to and that the quality of service is such that they return time and time again.
With a cellar that has been chosen to compliment the food and challenge even the most adventurous palate, you will need a strong interest in the world of wines, coupled with some first hand experience of wine waiting. It is also highly advantageous if you have working knowledge of making and serving quality cocktails.
Essentially, you will need to demonstrate the want and desire to undertake both bar work and develop a career as a sommelier. You will assist guests with recommendations ensuring that the highest levels of guest service are maintained at all times and you will be involved in ordering and cellar management
Uniform is provided along with meals on duty. They also offer a superb and rare opportunity to attend overseas placements in some of the best quality establishments in the world! On site parking is available and staff accommodation may be provided.
