Under the Skin with Vicky Hart…
Vicky Hart is the Cluster HR Manager for MacDonald Hotels and Resorts and we go ‘under the skin’ to find out more….
My favorite memory as a child is?
Far to many to choose, I had an amazing Childhood most include special times such as holidays in Wales, Big Sunday Lunches, (For 17 people every week !) and Christmas Time.
My favorite food is?
Sea Bass, (Any Fish & Mediterranean)
The last book I ever read was?
The Power by Rhonda Byrne
Which cartoon character best describes you and why?
Miss Piggy, (Muppets) as I’m warm, funny, vivacious, & sometimes a bit blonde.
If you were to live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
Being a real home bird I would find this difficult to answer however would have to be; South of France or Woolacombe in Devon.
Have you ever met a famous person?
Many Rugby League Players, Brendan Cole, Dappy, Billy Ocean & Russell Crowe to name but a few.
When was the last time you cried?
In April My Dog dying “Bhuna” (Yes named after the Curry !!)
What is your favorite film?
Bridget Jones !
What are you naturally talented at?
Cooking, Baking
Who is your guilty pleasure?
Keith Lemon (my 60 mins per week of me and none HR time whilst I sit and have a little chuckle) !!
What is your favorite chocolate bar?
Snickers
Can you play a musical instrument?
I can strum a little tune on a Guitar
Who plays the most influential role in your life and why?
Has to be my Dad, he was a very successful business man, is an amazing Grandfather to my 2 children and really taught me about the value of people and how to deal with different characters, and how to survive & cope with the stresses of day to day life.
An interesting fact about me that not many people know is:
I once worked for GMP, as a Police Constable, whilst having a 3 year career break from Hotels after the birth of my 2nd Child.
What is your motto in life?
“To succeed it is necessary to accept the world as it is and rise above it.”
